What a fantastic doctor with an amazing team! I was very nervous about this operation( Gastric Bypass) but my health was so poor mostly due to being so overweight, that it had to be done. Mr Rink and his team looked after me every step of the way, and now 5 months on from my op I am 8 and a half stone lighter, and still loosing weight, off most of my meds, BP is normal, Diabetes in control and I can climb the stairs! Life changing!!

Mr Rink and his team were absolutely amazing from the very first time I visited them right through my journey of weight loss from the operation (gastric sleeve) and throughout the aftercare too. I cannot fault this team in the slightest and if I had to recommend a doctor and his team then I would choose Mr Rink every time. The service provided to me has been second to none and I am extremely pleased to have met such amazing people. Thank you to all of you for helping me through a life changing decision. Wow what a amazing surgeon Mr Rink is, August 2014 I had my gastric sleeve done, oh how it has change my life. Mr Rink explained everything to me with lots of meetings way before this operation began he and his team explained and showed us it wasn't going to be easy, but with his support and his team of staff I knew I was in safe hands. I knew I had full support before the op during the op and afterwards, know a year down the line I have lost an amazing 16 stone and still loosing and still have massive support I know I can email or phone any of Mr Rink team anytime of the day and someone will get back to me within a couple of days. I had this operation done as I needed to loose weight so I could have a hip op done, I have know got a date through for January 2016, I hope all goes as well with this hip operation as this operation did. I will never be able to thank Mr Rink and his team so much for helping with my weight and basically saving my life, thank you so much.

I recently had a gastric sleeve fitted by Mr Rink, what a wonderful man, he gave me lots of advice and information about my operation, and has given me my life back I am steadily losing weight and can do things that I haven't done for years and my aches and pains have virtually gone so all I can say is thank you.

Mr Rink is objective, informative, non-judgmental and supportive without patronizing; he takes a holistic approach. His quiet depth of consideration relates to • the individuality of the patient • their emotion / psychological baggage • their physical health Nine months after my operation (gastric sleeve), I am seven stone lighter. More importantly, I no longer take medication for diabetes type two, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. I have benefited so much by Mr Rink’s intervention. My mobility is great, I can walk up hills without shortage of breath, tie shoelaces and regain some elegance in getting in and out of cars. Mentally it is helping me to gain control. I doubt I will ever have an ‘even relationship’ with food but my operation and the support of the team have given me a new life. All of my daily tasks are easier to perform and I no longer feel like a giant slug dragging my body along. I truly believe that this operation or ‘tool’ that I have been given has saved my life and is restoring my well-being. I hope that with the continuing support of Mr Rink and his team that I will loose another seven stone in the next 6 months. My gratitude and faith in Mr Rink is boundless.
